Ali Baba in a Suit is the eighth episode of The Amazing Race 17.

The order of departure from Naryshkin Bastion are as follows:

Chad & Stephanie left two hours later than their initial departure time, due to accidentally oversleeping.

Teams must fly to Muscat, Oman. Upon arrival, teams must travel by taxi to Burj Al Mubkharah in Riyam Park, where they must find a man who'll give them silver ingots. The silver ingot has a time for when teams can go into the fort's watchtower in the morning to find their next clue. Two teams each will depart at 7:30 am, 7:45 am, and 8:00 am.

Teams must drive themselves to Jebel Shams. Once there, teams will have a safety driver drive them to the top due to dangerous conditions, where they will find their next clue.

The team member assigned to this Roadblock would have to rappel 500 feet down the side of the mountain to a field of hundreds of oil lamps, in which only a handful of which held Aladdin's magic ring. Once they find a lamp with a ring, they have to turn it in to receive their next clue.

Teams must drive themselves to Nizwa and search for a giant stack of books to find their next clue.

Choice A: Water Table
Teams would have to pump water from a well into a water truck and then drive back into town to deliver the water to their assigned house in the neighborhood of Aswat Al Eid. After delivering the water, the customer will give them their next clue.

All of the teams chose this task.

Choice B: Wedding Table
Teams would have to travel to an Arab market and purchase 25 chickens and several other ingredients needed to serve the traditional Omani dish maqbous. Once the dish is complete, they'll give the maqbous to a bride and groom who will give them their next clue.

None of the teams chose this task.

Teams must drive themselves to Muttrah Souq. Once there, teams must find a frankincense vendor, then have to search the marketplace for "Ali Baba" to trade the frankincense for their next clue.

Teams must drive themselves to Al Alam Palace to check in. For coming in first place, Chad & Stephanie won a trip for two to Belize, provided by Travelocity.
