Another Day in Thunder Bay is the ninth episode of The Amazing Race Canada 7.
Racers head to Thunder Bay, Ontario, where A virtual reality detour could have teams stumped. In a face-off, Teams will play Axe Throwing, Air Hockey or Table Hockey. Teams are exhausted in the double-length leg.
The order of departure from Musée Maritime de Charlevoix are as follows:

- Anthony & James (6:45 pm)
Teams must drives themselves to Quebec City to board on a train heading to Toronto connecting through Montreal. Upon arriving, teams must head to the Royal Ontario Museum and search for their next clue.
Inside the Royal Ontario Museum, teams will have to search for ten different objects in the museum, collecting a letter stamp located near each one. Once all stamps have be found, teams must use their stamps to determine their next destination.
Teams must make their way to the Toronto Coach Terminal, and sign-up for a bus ride to Thunder Bay, Ontario. Upon arrival, teams will be released in five minute intervals depending on the order they signed up. Teams were taken to the Terry Fox Monument were they would pay tribute to the cancer research activist, and to receive their next clue.
The order of arrival at Toronto Coach Terminal are as follows:
Teams will make their way to a family entertainment center called Wacky's. Once there, teams will need to defeat another team in one of three games: Air hockey, Table hockey, or Axe throwing. The earlier arriving of the two teams will get to choose which game is played. The team that wins the challenge reicives their next clue, while the team that loses must then wait for another team to compete against. The final losing team will need to wait out a 15-minute penalty before receiving their next clue.

Choice A: Cutting Edge
Teams must make their way to Lakehead University of Natural Resources air field where they'll receive a drone kit from The Source. With one member using a VR headset to see the drones point of view, and the other blindly controlling the drone itself, teams must locate four stuffed moose in a field marked with letters and numbers forming a grid. Once they mark the four moose on a grid board, teams will receive their next clue. Only three teams would be able to complete this task, any other teams arriving after will be turned away and forced to do the other Detour task.
Lauren & Joanne, and Aarthy & Thinesh chose this task.
Choice B: Cutting a Wedge
Teams must make their way to Thunder Oak Cheese Farm. Once there, teams must locate a wheel of gouda with a specific number on it. Then, they will need to cut a slice of the cheese wheel, making sure the slice weighs between 230 and 270 grams. Lastly, teams will need to properly package 32 individual pieces of cheese. If the cheesemaker is satisfied with their packaged cheese, they will give them their next clue. Only three teams would be able to complete this task, any other teams arriving after will be turned away and forced to do the other Detour task.
