As Easy as Stacking Cups is the penultimate episode of The Amazing Race 29.

Story[]

The final four teams race through Seoul, South Korea to clinch a spot in the finale and a chance to race for the one million dollar prize.

Route Markers[]

The order of departure from Hidden Charm Hotel are as follows:

  1. Matt & Redmond (11:57 pm)
  2. Brooke & Scott (1:48 am)
  3. Tara & Joey (2:16 am)
  4. London & Logan (2:26 am)

Teams must fly to Seoul, South Korea. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to the Gangnam District, where they must find a group of K-pop performers, who would give them their next clue.

Teams must take a taxi to the Olympic Gymnasium at Hanyang University, where they would find their next clue.

"Who stacks up?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must take part in sport stacking competition, and stack 12 plastic cups into three pyramid formations, then break down the pyramids into three small stacks, all within 7 seconds or less, to receive their next clue.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must make their way to Mugyewon Arts & Cultural Center, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must prepare six servings of traditional Korean kimchi, following a provided demonstration. Once their kimchi has been made to the attendant's satisfaction, they must transfer each serving into a ceramic jar, then bury the jars to start fermentation. They must then each sample a piece of kimchi to receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Seoul OGN e-Stadium, where they would find their next clue.

"Who's ready to take control?"

The team member who sat out of the previous Roadblock must play the video game Street Fighter V against a professional Esports player, including Seon-woo "Infiltration" Lee and Lee Chung "Poongko" Gon,[1] and beat them in one match to receive their next clue. After every ten attempts, the professional player would be given a handicap (playing one-handed or blindfolded) to make it easier for teams to win.

Teams must make their way to the roof of Gavit Some at Sebitseom to check in.
