The Assist allows team to make a designated task easier. It was introduced in The Amazing Race Canada 9.

All teams are given the assist, however, teams may only exercise one Assist for the entire race. In The Amazing Race Canada 10, the Assist is hidden in a random clue on a set challenge.

It is unknown if the Assist will be appear in the flagship American edition.
