Back in the Saddle is the season premiere of The Amazing Race: All-Stars.

The race begins at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California, United States.
Teams must find one of several of UCLA Bruin Marching Band members with the Chinese symbols for Guangzhou (广州) on their shako's badge, matching the badges displayed on the shakos of the band conductors, and bring the band member back to the starting line to be confirmed by host Phil Keoghan. Once a team brought a band member with the correct shako, Phil would give them a set of tickets for one of two flights to Guangzhou, China. The first four teams would receive tickets for the first flight, Cathay Pacific, while the last seven teams would receive tickets for an EVA Air flight scheduled to arrive an hour after the first.
Upon arrival, teams must take either a taxi or the Guangzhou Metro to Jiangnan Avenue North, where they must search for one of three wedding boutiques (Precious One, Rich Forest & Beauty, or Silver Gorgeous) where they would receive their next clue. Each boutique had a limited number of clues, forcing teams to search for other boutiques if they went to one that had already run out.
Teams must take the metro to "the building in Guangzhou with bubbles on top", being given a replica bubble for reference, leaving teams to figure out that this referred to Canton Tower. Once there, they must select one of the bubble cars of the Ferris wheel located at the top of the tower and search for their next clue, which would be revealed when the door to the car closed, forcing the teams to wait for the car to make a full trip around the building before they are allowed to exit and proceed. Even numbered cars held clues, while odd numbered cars told teams to try again.
Teams must make their way to Haixinsha Stadium, where they would find their next clue.
"Who's feeling wired?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must dress in a special costume and perform five aerial somersaults while suspended 300 feet in the air by wires attached to the stadium's towers to receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way on foot to Guangzhou Opera House to check in. For coming in first, Jet & Cord won two Express Passes, one of which had to be given to another team before the fifth leg.
