  2. Anthony & James
  3. Trish & Amy

Teams on Bus #2:

  1. Sarah & Sam

Teams arrived at the twins cities of Kitchener and Waterloo. They now had to head to TheMuseum. Once there, they would have to find the Spectrum Exhibition, where they will find a green ball pit. Teams had to search in the ball pit for a yellow or red raced colored ball in order to receive their next clue.

At the TheMuseum, Trish & Amy would receive their clue for their Speed Bump. Trish & Amy would need to head to The University of Waterloo's Sedra Student Design Centre using a Chevrolet Bolt EV. Once there they would find out they would test drive an autonomous Chevrolet Bolt EV before being allowed to continue.

Choice A: Beer Fest
Teams must travel to The Concordia Club. Upon arriving, teams will choose a table of ten guests and take their individual beer orders. When the team is away to fulfill their order, the guests will dance then sit back on the table but in different seats. Teams would need to correctly serve the 10 guests with their respective order, where they would receive their next clue upon completion.

None of the teams chose this task.

Choice B: Robot Quest
Teams would head to E7 Engineering Complex in The University of Waterloo where they would maneuver a robot through a maze using set commands. As the control center and the maze were located in different parts of the building, teams members would need to communicate using a walkie-talkie with one member operating the robot at the hub while the other member would be at the maze, giving commands to the operator. Team members could not switch once they started. Once the robot is through the maze, teams would receive their next clue.

All teams chose this task.

Teams must travel to The Culinary Studio where they would battle another team in a Dempsters-themed cooking showdown. The earlier arriving team will choose one of three Dempsters dishes. Both teams will get to visually study the dish for one minute, before having 15 minutes to re-create the dish using only the example prior as a reference. The team with the dish that resembles the example dish the most would receive their next clue, while the team that loses must then wait for another team to compete against. The final losing team will need to wait out a 15-minute penalty before receiving their next clue.

The battles are in order, with the winners in bold:

Once at the Perimeter Institute, teams will need to solve an algebra problem. Using a ball and a stopwatch, teams will need to drop the ball at a balcony and time how long the ball takes to reach the ground. Using the formula listed, teams will need to figure out the distance of which the ball traveled prior to hitting the ground. Once they've correctly solved the problem and reached an answer between 41 ft. to 50 ft., teams would receive their next clue.

Teams would proceed to Wilfrid Laurier University and find the Pit Stop at the Knight-Newbrough Field.
For coming in first place, Dave & Irina won a trip for two to Frankfurt, Germany.
