Route Markers[]

The order of departure from Meno A Kwena Safari Camp are as follows:

  1. Bates & Anthony (5:39 am)
  2. Pam & Winnie (6:11 am)
  3. Chuck & Wynona (6:17 am)
  4. Joey & Meghan (6:23 am)
  5. Caroline & Jennifer (6:28 am)
  6. Mona & Beth (6:37 am)
  7. Max & Katie (6:49 am)

Teams must drive themselves to Boro Village and search for Makoro Poling Station, where they would find their next clue.

At Boro Village, Max & Katie would receive their clue for their Speed Bump. Max & Katie must each complete a traditional beaded skirt, then wear it while performing a ceremonial seduction dance, before they are allowed to continue.

The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams after receiving their clue at Boro Village. Teams must waterski over one mile, without losing their balance, on the waters of the Okavango Delta to win the Fast Forward. Bates & Anthony won the Fast Forward.

"Who wants to go up a creek without a paddle?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must transport two goats down the Okavango Delta to a delivery point by using a makoro. They must control the makoro via punting, while their teammate looks after the goats, but may not otherwise physically assist them. Once the goats have been delivered and the team returns to the starting point, they would receive their next clue.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must take a water taxi down the Thamalakane River, then by safari taxi to the Royal Tree Lodge Game Preserve, where they would find their next clue.

Choice A: Brains
Teams must go on a horseback safari and spot ten animal wooden cutouts: zebra, African buffalo, kudu, giraffe, meerkat, boomslang snake, leopard, warthog, ostrich, and hippopotamus with a heron. They would then travel to a nearby campsite, where they must arrange a set of tiles featuring the silhouettes of the animals in the order they appeared. There were tiles for animals they did not see and there was no tile representing the hippopotamus, but there was one for the heron. Once they have arranged the tiles in the correct order, they would receive their next clue. If they are incorrect, they must go on the horseback safari again before being allowed another try at arranging the tiles.

Only Chuck & Wynona chose this task.

Choice B: Brawn
Teams must have to fill a traditional sand sledge with firewood and then, using a carrot dangling from a stick, coax a team of donkeys to pull the sledge to a campsite over a half a mile away. Once the wood is unloaded from the sledge, they would receive their next clue.

Caroline & Jennifer, Joey & Meghan, Max & Katie, Mona & Beth, and Pam & Winnie chose this task.

Teams must search the grounds of the Royal Tree Lodge Game Preserve for "where the river bends" to check in.
For coming in first place, Bates & Anthony each won $7500.
