Rebecca "Becca" Droz and Floyd Pierce are a team of Strangers on The Amazing Race 29 and a team of Friends on The Amazing Race 31.

Becca & Floyd quickly hit it off in The Amazing Race 29 due to their similar free-spirited natures, dubbing themselves "Team Fun". In spite of occasional hiccups, they proved themselves to be a strong team, regularly placing near the top half of the pack, including winning two legs, on their way to the final five. In the tenth leg, however, Floyd struggled with the Roadblock, requiring multiple attempts under the sweltering Vietnamese heat to complete it, losing their lead and dropping them to last. This would prove to be their undoing as Floyd became too fatigued to continue the highly-physical leg, and host Phil Keoghan came out to eliminate them in 5th place.

Returning as friends in The Amazing Race 31, Becca & Floyd's cohesive teamwork and greater knowledge of each others' strengths—having Becca do the more physical tasks, and leaving Floyd to lead them in performance-related tasks—resulted in much success for them, including winning two legs on their way to the final five. In the tenth leg, however, they fell behind early after struggling with navigation and were forced to play catch-up for the rest of the leg. This left them vulnerable to being U-Turned by Nicole & Victor, which saw them make a critical error in their second Detour, setting them even further behind. Becca & Floyd were unable to make up the deficit, leading them to once again be eliminated in 5th place.

Describe what you do: I facilitate all women's climbing courses to help women become more confident and capable climbers and grow the community of lady climbers.
3 words to describe you: Fun, bold and adventurous.
Favorite hobbies: Beatboxing and freestyling, dancing (swing dance, contra dance and dancing at da club), juggling, skiing, gardening and video editing.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?: Achieving my dream of being a contestant on The Amazing Race, duh.
What scares you most about traveling?: Getting very lost.
What excites you most about traveling?: New perspectives, new sights, new people and new experiences.
What qualities do you hope your partner has?: Freestyling and/or beatboxing skills, a positive attitude, excels at puzzles and navigation, never gives up and likes to have fun!
What qualities will be hard for you to put up with in a partner?: Negativity, drama, arrogance, too serious and anti-fun.
What do you think will be the biggest challenge you and your teammate face?: Getting caught up in small moments and losing sight of the big picture.
What country and place would you most like to visit and why?: New Zealand - Phil's homeland and a place of great, mountainous beauty!
What do you hope to accomplish by running The Race (other than winning one million bucks)?: Connect with a group of unique and fascinating individuals, push my limits and intimately experience new cultures.

Floyd[]

Age: 21
Hometown: Highland Ranch, Colo.
Current occupation: College Student
Describe what you do: I study applied math and economics at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I also served as a drum major of CU's marching band for the past three years.
3 words to describe you: Optimistic, driven and juicy.
Favorite hobbies: Anything musical, hiking, baseball, watching The Walking Dead or The Amazing Race, attending college sporting events and everything related to The Lion King.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?: Either winning a full-ride scholarship to college or being a cast member on The Amazing Race.
What scares you most about traveling?: I don't have a great sense of direction, so I'm most worried about getting completely lost in a foreign land.
What excites you most about traveling?: Getting to see the world! I've never been outside of the country, so experiencing different cultures will be awesome. I'm also excited to put myself in situations that the average human would never find themselves in.
What qualities do you hope your partner has?:I'm looking for someone who can stay positive in any situation. I want someone who understands that the race will not be a smooth ride, and they must be able to keep calm in the most stressful times.
What qualities will be hard for you to put up with in a partner?: Someone who gives up easily.
What do you think will be the biggest challenge you and your teammate face?: I feel like my partner may underestimate me because I'm one of the youngest racers, so it's possible that I'll have to prove myself to them early on.
What country and place would you most like to visit and why?: Definitely Italy. It has a rich arts and music culture and pasta is my favorite food.

What do you hope to accomplish by running The Race (other than winning one million bucks)?: Being on this show is my biggest dream, so I just hope to push myself harder than I ever have before and enjoy the ride!

Instagram: @becca_beatbox and @teamfun_tar
Hometown: Boulder, Colorado
Current occupation: Rock Climbing Instructor/Coach/Guide
Describe what you do: I design and instruct rock climbing courses to help increase competence and confidence in people's (mostly women's) climbing abilities.
Three words to describe you: Excitable, honest, and fun-loving.
Favorite hobbies: Beatboxing, writing raps, and swing dancing.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? Staying persistent with my dream to be on The Amazing Race and living that dream! Then, winning a trip to the Galapagos and getting to experience the Race AGAIN!!!
What scares you most about traveling? Getting really lost, offending different cultures, and trusting the wrong people.
What excites you most about traveling? Gaining new perspectives on the world and life, new experiences.
What country and place would you most like to visit and why? New Zealand. I've heard it's absolutely beautiful and there is no language barrier.
What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)? I hope that we bring out the best in each other as we share a plethora of new experiences. I hope to gain a better understanding of our team dynamic, learn from each other, learn more about myself and obviously, have fun.
Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways? Our biggest competition will be Racers. They've done it before and they know how this game works.

Floyd Pierce[]

Age: 23
Hometown: Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Twitter and Instagram: @FloydJP3
Current occupation: Client Service Manager
Describe what you do: I am a client service manager and a registered investment advisor in Boulder. I communicate with clients, provide operational/administrative support, and perform other specialty functions relating to reporting and research. I passed CFA Level 1 this past December.
Three words to describe you: Spunky, charismatic, and contemplative.
Favorite hobbies: Anything involving music, college sporting events, cuddling, and The Lion King.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? Being cast for The Amazing Race twice. That's pretty cool. Or serving as a drum major for CU's marching band.
What scares you most about traveling? Losing my passport.
What excites you most about traveling? Getting to experience the lives of other people. Every country is so unique and each feels like a different world, and I'm so lucky that I get to see other countries in a way that your average tourist can't.
What country and place would you most like to visit and why? Australia and/or New Zealand. It's the only continent I haven't been to (besides Antarctica).
What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)? To spread our joy to the world and have the time of our lives. Becca and I also still have a lot to learn about each other, so our relationship is surely about to get deeper!

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways? Definitely the Castaways. I feel like Survivor can be psychologically tougher than the Race because it's more social and you're just sitting around alone with your thoughts. So I think the Castaways can handle themselves during the stressful moments. The Race is also physically and mentally challenging, and obviously, the Castaways are used to those kinds of conditions!
