Brian & Greg

Brian Thomas Smith and Greg Smith are a team of Brothers on The Amazing Race 7.

Barring a close call in the second leg, the brothers mostly found themselves racing at the front of the pack due their physicality while also playing a strong social game that included a short-lived alliance with Megan and Heidi. After their car accident in the sixth leg, Brian & Greg seemed destined for elimination, but miraculously managed to catch up and defeat Ray & Deana in a footrace to the Pit Stop to survive. However, the next leg had no equalizer; the deficit to the rest of the cast and struggling to find the first route marker were enough to ensure they were unable to recover and were eliminated in 6th place.

Brian & Greg are brothers from Santa Monica, California. Brian is an actor/bartender and Greg is a bouncer. Their primary motivation for participating in the Race is to travel the world with each other and meet new people.

Brian, the older of the two, graduated from Central Missouri State before moving to Los Angeles. Brian is at heart a competitor whose greatest accomplishment in life was starting every basketball game his high school varsity season after being cut the prior two seasons.

Greg graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Radio, Television and Film. In addition to earning his degree, Greg also saw playing time as a walk-on football player at Auburn. Competitive like his brother, Greg's favorite hobbies are playing basketball with his brother, tennis and horseback riding.

These two brothers are confident and ready to compete. Despite their limited traveling experience and knowledge of the Race, they're ready for the adventure of their lives. ^[1]

Brian has subsequently become known for his portrayal of Zack Johnson in The Big Bang Theory.
Greg is married to a woman named Morgan as of June 9, 2012.^[2]
