Bust Me Right in the Head with It is the third episode of The Amazing Race 20.
The order of departure from El Gomero are as follows:
Choice A: Stacked Up
Teams must travel to the Mercado Central de Abasto and stack watermelons into a 10-by-10 pyramid. Once the pyramid is complete, the fruit monger would give teams their next clue.
Express Pass to bypass the Strung Out Detour.
Choice B: Strung Out
Teams must travel to an auditorium at the Universidad Nacional de Asunción, where they must properly string a Paraguayan harp. Once the harp is properly strung and ready to be tuned, the harp conductor would give teams their next clue.
Teams must make their way to Plaza de la Democracia, where they would find their next clue.
"Who's ready to use their head?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must perform a traditional Paraguayan bottle dance, performing a choreographic routine with a glass bottle on their head to receive their next clue. If the bottle broke, they would have to start over with a new bottle. Teams are given only 50 bottles, and if they broke all of them without being able to complete the task, they would incur a two-hour penalty at the Pit Stop.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
First Place • Eliminated • Last placer on a Non-Elimination Leg • Season winner • Season 2nd place • Season 3rd place • ► Used the Fast Forward• ϵ Used the Express Pass• ⊂ User of the first Double U-Turn slot • ⊃ Recipient of the first Double U-Turn slot • ⋐ User of the second Double U-Turn slot • ⋑ Recipient of the second Double U-Turn slot
- This marks the first time that The Amazing Race visits the country of Paraguay.
- Rachel & Dave became the first team to fail to complete both the Detour (which they used the Express Pass to bypass) and the Roadblock on an elimination leg, but manage to avoid elimination.
- The Stacked Up Detour and the Roadblock would later return as a Switchback Detour in "Olé, Olé!".
- The episode title is said by Bopper Minton.
