Coming in as superfans of the show, Chris and Mary struggled due to indecisiveness regarding directions as well as the intense heat, causing them to fall to the bottom three. The heat continued to slow them down on the second leg to the point where they had to take a long break to rehydrate as Chris was displaying signs of heatstroke. They ended up losing a footrace between Kishori & Karishma and Michelle & Sean and thus were eliminated in 12th place.
