Cobra in My Teeth is the penultimate episode of The Amazing Race 23.

The order of departure from Bosscha Observatory are as follows:

1. Leo & Jamal (7:25 am)
2. Tim & Marie (7:26 am)
3. Jason & Amy (7:40 am)
4. Nicole & Travis (7:42 am)

Teams must make their way to Ciwangun Indah Camp and find the King Cobra House. Once there, both team members must eat their own serving of a 20 cm piece of grilled king cobra to receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way to the main entrance of Kawah Domas Crater, where they would find their next clue.

"Who's feeling Hard-Boiled?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must pick up 60 eggs from a food stand and then take an 8-minute moped taxi ride into the Kawah Domas Crater of Tangkuban Perahu to use one of the volcanic hot springs to boil the eggs. After returning to the stand with the cooked eggs, the egg man would slice each one open to see if they are hard-boiled. Once they have a dozen hard-boiled eggs, they would receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way on foot to the Kawah Ratu Crater, where they would find their next clue.

Choice A: Paint Your Partner
Teams must make their way to Gracia Spa Graha Ciater, where they must follow an example to make each other up in traditional Javanese bridal makeup without using a mirror. Once the beautician is satisfied with their work, he would give them their next clue.

Jason & Amy, Nicole & Travis, and Tim & Marie chose this task.

Choice B: Turn Over a New Leaf
Teams must make their way to a tea plantation in Ciater and dress in the traditional uniform of the tea harvesters. They must then search a marked field in the tea plantation for a pair of marked clipping shears hidden in the tea plants. Once they have found the clipping shears, they may trade it for their next clue.

Only Leo & Jamal chose this task.

Teams must make their way to Curug Cimahi to check in.

For coming in first, Jason & Amy won a trip for two to Cancún, Mexico, provided by Travelocity.

For coming in last place, Leo & Jamal will have to perform a Speed Bump at some point during the next leg of the race.
