Teams must fly to Fortaleza. Upon arrival, teams must take a taxi to Cumbuco and find Praia de Cumbuco, where they would find their next clue.
Teams must ride a dune buggy along the beach to Barraca d Manoel, where a vendor would hand them their next clue.
Choice A: Beach It
Teams must ride their dune buggy to Pecém Beach and move a traditional Brazilian sailboat known as a jangada by placing logs underneath it to roll it along into an inlet 100 yards away to receive their next clue.
Aja & Ty, Andrew & Dan, Anthony & Stephanie, Kelly & Christy, Ken & Tina, Marisa & Brooke, Nick & Starr, Terence & Sarah, and Toni & Dallas chose this task.
Choice B: Docket
Teams must ride their dune buggy to the nearby Port of Pecem and search in a computer database for an ID matching the ID number provided in their clue. Once found, they must search the shipyard for the shipping container that matched their ID number, which held their next clue.
Teams must take a marked taxi to Parque de Vaquejada, where they would find their next clue.
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must find the name of their next destination, Cidade da Criança, hidden amongst several advertisements painted along a 600-foot wall. If they chose the right advertisement, a painter would give them their next clue.

Teams must take their marked taxi to Cidade da Criança to check in. For coming in first, Ken & Tina each won an off-road vehicle.
