The Amazing Race Wiki

The Driver's Seat allows the first team to arrive at a designated board to determine how much work the remaining teams have to do at the succeeding task. Although similar twists such as the Yield and U-Turn allow for teams to opt not to use the twist, it is currently unknown if teams can choose not to use the Driver's Seat.

History[]

This twist first appeared in the fourth leg of Season 37, where the first team to arrive at the Driver's Seat could decide which teams should harvest 15 lbs, 20 lbs, and 25 lbs of rice at that leg's Roadblock. Jonathan & Ana arrived at the Driver's Seat board first and assigned the weights to each team.
