Dwesmond "Dwes" Wiggan-Dann and Katherine Dann are a team of Kimberley Cousins on The Amazing Race Australia 5.

They were originally the first team eliminated after trailing behind the other teams. After Alex & Jack's decision to quit the race, they returned in Leg 3. Their performances improved much including a 2nd-place finish. But in Coober Pedy, Dwes would make a huge mistake by painting the wrong letter in the Roadblock which allowed the trailing Holly & Dolor to catch up, as well their golf-ball being caught by the Power Couple. And while Holly & Dolor seemed to lost direction, they checked in after them and were again eliminated.

Cousins by blood, friends by choice. Although this deadly duo from The Kimberley's are known for butting heads, cousins Dwes and Katherine are living proof that opposites work well together. While Katherine is the brawns, Dwes' confidence and strategic skills will make this team an unstoppable force!

Mother of one and AFLW player Katherine is a quiet achiever, who encourages and supports young women in her community to reach for the stars. With an infectious smile, Dwes believes their biggest advantage will be other teams underestimating them.

Both Dwes and Katherine are Aboriginal and want to be positive role models for their community. They hope that by running the Race, they'll inspire their community and young Aboriginal Australians to dream big.

Dwes: Kununurra, for its spiritual and emotional connection to the Ancient Land.
What was the biggest challenge you have faced in your life?
Katherine: Being a single mother. Trying to do it all and build a life that's suitable for your child, challenges me every day.

Notes: 1: Dwes & Katherine returned to the race at Longreach Airport to replace Alex & Jack in Leg 3. 2: Dwes & Katherine initially arrived 9th, but were issued a 10 minute penalty for taking transportation in a public car. Holly & Dolor checked in during this time, dropping them to 10th place. 3: Dwes & Katherine initially arrived 6th, but were issued a 30 minute penalty as Katherine quit the Roadblock. Three teams checked in during their penalty time, dropping them to last place. However, they were notified that that the leg was a Non-Elimination Leg and the remainder for their penalty would be applied at the start of Leg 9.
