The Amazing Race was a way of enjoying their mother/adult son relationship. They spent almost of the time laughing - and sharing the unique experiences that the show presents. Todd excelled at catching sheep and driving tractors in New Zealand, while Elizabeth skills at prawn fishing left a little to be desired, but they managed to laugh through their adventures.
They share a competitive spirit, but neither is confident about their long term prospects on the Race.
