Off to See the Wizard is the seventh episode of The Amazing Race 21.

The order of departure from the MV Savarona are as follows:

1. Trey & Lexi (12:53 pm)
2. Abbie & Ryan (12:56 pm)
3. James & Abba (1:03 pm)
4. Natalie & Nadiya (1:44 pm)
5. Jaymes & James (1:55 pm)
6. Josh & Brent (2:07 pm)

Teams must fly to Moscow, Russia. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to the Zurab Tsereteli Sculpture Park, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Moskvoretsky Most and find Ivan the Terrible's guards, who would give teams their next clue.

Choice A: Alphabetized
Teams must make their way to the Russian State Library, where they would be given a list of books by author, title, and year. They must then use the library's paper card catalog system, written in Cyrillic, to locate four of the books on the list. Once they think they have the correct location of the four books, a librarian would direct them to another section to allow the team to search for the books. Teams must then check their retrieved books with the head librarian to receive their next clue.

Only Trey & Lexi chose this task.

Choice B: Synchronized
Teams must make their way Trud Sports Complex, where they must learn and participate in a synchronized swimming routine with six other swimmers of the Russian national developmental team. After practicing the routine, they must perform it for a judge, who would either pass them and give them their next clue, or would require the teams to practice more.

Abbie & Ryan, James & Abba, Jaymes & James, Josh & Brent, and Natalie & Nadiya chose this task.

Josh & Brent were unable to complete either Detour due to both sites closing for the day. They were simply handed their clue and assessed a 4-hour penalty at the start of the next leg.

Teams must make their way to the Luzhkov Bridge and search for the Trees of Love, where they would find their next clue.

"Who's ready to unlock the future?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must select one of the marked Trees of Love, trees covered in love locks, and unlock 10 of the locks with the provided set of keys to free a ribbon held to the tree. Once they have freed the ribbon, they would find the next clue concealed inside, a 100 ruble banknote.

Teams must make their way to the location depicted on the back of their 100 ruble banknote, the Bolshoi Theatre, to check in.

For coming in first place, Trey & Lexi won a trip for two to Maui, Hawaii, provided by Travelocity.

For coming in last place, James & Abba will have to perform a Speed Bump at some point during the next leg of the race.
