The Sprint of Our Life is the second episode of The Amazing Race 19.

The order of departure from the Martyrs' Shrine are as follows:

Teams must fly to Jakarta, Indonesia. Upon arrival, teams must take a train to Yogyakarta, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must take a taxi to Bukit Indah Restaurant & Hotel, where they must claim a key indicating their departure time the following morning, with the first group of teams departing 20 minutes earlier than the second group.^[1]

Teams must take a taxi to Goa Jomblang, where they would find their next clue.

At Goa Jomblang, Bill & Cathi would receive their clue for their Speed Bump. Bill & Cathi must untangle a rope until they had enough length to reach a carabiner across a field, before they are allowed to continue.

"Who's ready to spelunk?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must descend 160 feet into Goa Jomblang to search for a Javanese mask and a kris. Once they have found both items, they must then scale up a bamboo ladder to the top to deliver the items to a chieftain in exchange for their next clue.

Choice A: Shake Your Money Maker
Teams must dress up in costumes, with one team member dancing in the streets while the other plays a gamelan in order to earn Rp30,000.

Amani & Marcus, Ethan & Jenna, Jeremy & Sandy, Kaylani & Lisa, Liz & Marie, and Ron & Bill chose this task.

Choice B: Be a Ticket Taker
Teams must make their way to the Mal Malioboro and work as motorbike parking attendants in order to earn Rp15,000 and then turn in their ticket book.

Andy & Tommy, Bill & Cathi, Ernie & Cindy, Justin & Jennifer, and Laurence & Zac chose this task.

Once teams have earned enough money at either Detour, they must make their way to the 'Aisyiyah Orphanage, where they must donate the money earned at the Detour and all their money in their possession to receive their next clue.

Teams received a coat of arms, leaving teams to figure out that this belonged to the Yogyakarta Sultanate and that they must make their way to the Sultan's house at Kraton Palace to check in.
For coming in first place, Andy & Tommy won a trip for two to Ireland, provided by Travelocity.

This marks the first time that The Amazing Race (US) visits the country of Indonesia.
This leg marks the first time that there is a Double Elimination at a single Pit Stop.
- This is also the first leg with two simultaneous eliminations, excluding the "eliminations" of the second-place and third-place teams at the Finish Line.
The episode title is said by Sandy Draghi.
