Follow That Plane! is the season finale of The Amazing Race 2.
Synopsis[]
As they complete their journey around the world, the final three teams race to reach the finish line first and win the $1 million prize.
The final three teams race from New Zealand to Hawaii to Alaska and, finally, on to the last city where the race to the finish line comes down to a matter of seconds. Along the way, one of the teams loses their clue putting them at a disadvantage.[2]

Leg 12[]
The order of departure from the Warbirds Hangar are as follows:
- Tara & Wil (1:03 am)
- Blake & Paige (3:30 am)
- Chris & Alex (3:58 am)
Teams must "find Sir John Logan Campbell", leaving them to figure out that this referred to his monument located at the summit of One Tree Hill, where they would find their next clue.
Teams must fly to Maui, Hawaii, United States. Upon arrival, they must, using a provided map, make their way to the ruins of an abandoned Sugar Mill, located near the old campus of Maui High School, where they would find their next clue.
Teams must drive themselves to the Pauwela Pineapple Field and find the field's water tower, where they would find their next clue.
Choice A: Bike
Teams must search the field on a pair of mountain bikes to find the only plastic pineapple painted red. Inside, they would find their next clue.
None of the teams chose this task.
Choice B: Walk
Teams must search the field on foot to find one of four plastic pineapples painted yellow. Inside, they would find their next clue.
Teams must drive themselves McGreggor Point, then choose a motorboat that would take them to a buoy off the coast of Molokini Island, where they would find their next clue.
"Sink or swim?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must snorkel in the waters near the buoy to find one of three yellow cases chained underwater. They must unstrap and remove the bindings wrapped around their case, then open it to retrieve their next clue from within.

Teams must take their boat to Kihei Boat Ramp, then, using a provided map, drive themselves to Huialoha Church to check in.
For coming in first place, Blake & Paige and Tara & Wil each won a trip to London, United Kingdom and Paris, France, provided by American Airlines Vacations.
Leg 13[]
The order of departure from Huialoha Church are as follows:
- Blake & Paige (11:13 pm)
- Tara & Wil (11:13 pm)
- Chris & Alex (12:39 am)
Teams must drive themselves to a marked pier in Hana Bay, then follow a marked path to Queen Kaʻahumanu's birthplace, where they would find their next clue.
Teams must fly to Anchorage, Alaska. Upon arrival, they must make their way to Rust's Flying Service at Lake Hood Seaplane Base, where they must choose a pilot and a marked plane, then direct their pilot to fly them to Trapper Creek, where they would find their next clue.
Teams must stay overnight in an igloo at Scotty Lake in Trapper Creek. In the morning, teams must don snowshoes and hike along a marked path to their next clue.
This leg's Detour was aired as a miscellaneous task, as all teams chose the same side of the Detour. The second half of the Detour is unknown.
Choice A: Unknown
Teams must drive a snowcat along a marked course on the frozen waters of Scotty Lake. At the end of the course, they would find their next clue.
Teams must drive themselves to Homesteader's Hardware Store in Big Lake, where they must pick up a set of tools and find their next clue.
Teams must drive themselves to Hurricane Gulch Bridge, where they would find their next clue.
"That person should be able to chip away at a challenge."
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must use the tools they picked up from the hardware store - a hammer, chisel, drill, and/or flamethrower - to retrieve their next clue from inside a large globe of ice.

Teams must fly to Oakland, California. Upon arrival, they must make their way to "Landmark #97" in San Francisco, leaving teams to figure out that this referred to the Atkinson-Escher House, where they would find their next clue.
Teams must make their way on foot to Municipal Pier, where they would find their next clue.
Teams must make their way to Murray Circle at East Fort Baker and cross the Finish Line.

- Tara & Wil received a 1-minute time credit at the Pit Stop in Leg 12 due to a minor production error, which resulted in them being awarded the same London and Paris trip as Blake & Paige.
- The episode features the closest footrace to the Finish Line in the entire franchise of The Amazing Race.
- The episode title is said by Wil Steger.
- Host Phil Keoghan listed the footrace between Tara & Wil and Chris & Alex as one of his favorite moments of the first 30 seasons.[3]
