The order of departure from Place Charles de Gaulle are as follows:
- Justin & Diana
- Tiffany & Krista
- Kelsey & Joey
- Tanner & Josh
- Cindy & Rick
- Logan & Chris
- Denise & James Earl
Teams must take a train to Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to the location depicted in a provided picture, which they must figure out was the Lightvessel No. 11 in Leuvehaven, where they would claim departure times the following morning. The first team would depart at 5:00 am, with teams leaving 15 minutes apart.
"Who wants to pick the sunflowers?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must refer to a provided example, then find an exact match of Vincent van Gogh's Sunflowers placed among many with only minor differences around the nearby windmills. Once they find an exact match, a miller would give them their next clue. If they are incorrect, teams must return the painting where they found it before they may continue searching.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must take the highest heart rate recorded from either member's Fitbit fitness watch from the previous leg and the heart rate of the member who performed this leg's Roadblock and subtract the difference. The solution will equal the number of tulips they must pick up and deliver to the Spakenburgermeisje at a marked stand in exchange for their next clue.
Teams must take a water taxi to Nolet Distillery, where they would find their next clue.
Choice A: Ship
Teams must take a tram to Millennium Tower, where they must use a training simulator to navigate a simulation of the Port of Rotterdam in stormy weather to complete a two-part mission. With one member acting as the captain and the other as the navigator, they must first deliver a pilot to one of the ships in the water, then come to the aid of a ship in distress. If they could complete the mission in under five minutes, the captain would give them their next clue. If they run out of time before completing the mission, they must go to the back of the line before they are allowed to try again.
Only Tiffany & Krista chose this task.
Choice B: Skip
Teams must take a tram to Leuvehoofd Park, where they must learn a Double Dutch clapping routine on a jump rope. If they could perform the routine for 45 seconds, they would receive their next clue.
Teams must take a train to The Hague, then take a tram to the Peace Palace to check in.
For coming in first place, Justin & Diana won cash prize from Fitbit matching the total sum of footsteps they took over the course of the leg, which totaled $31,873, and a massage equivalent to the higher heart rate of the team member upon checking in, 89 minutes, during the Pit Stop.
