Get Our Groove On is the fifth episode of The Amazing Race 23.

The order of departure from the Viking Longhouse are as follows:

Since the previous leg was a No-Rest Leg, teams immediately departed from the Pit Stop to continue racing.

Teams must take a ferry to Trondheim, then fly to Gdańsk, Poland. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to Solidarity Square at Gdańsk Shipyard, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must take a taxi to the Golden Gate, where they would find their next clue.

Choice A: Pose
Teams must wear Neptune costumes and pose like his statue at Neptune's Fountain in front of Gdańsk Town Hall in order to attract donations from passersby. Once they collect 75 zł, they would receive their next clue from the sculptor.

Nicky & Kim and Tim & Marie chose this task.

Choice B: Polka
Teams must make their way to Old Town Hall, where they must dress in traditional Polish costume and memorize and perform a polka dance routine. Once their dance instructor is satisfied with their dancing, they would receive their next clue.

Ally & Ashley, Brandon & Adam, Jason & Amy, Leo & Jamal, Nicole & Travis, and Tim & Danny chose this task.

Tim & Marie used their Express Pass to bypass the Pose Detour.

Teams must make their way to the Medieval Harbor Crane at the Motława riverfront, where they would receive their next clue from a foreman. In addition, teams must continue to wear their costumes from the Detour they chose for the remainder of the leg.

At the Medieval Harbor Crane, teams would have the option to U-Turn a team, with two slots available. Tim & Danny used the first slot of the U-Turn on Leo & Jamal. Leo & Jamal used the second slot of the U-Turn on Brandon & Adam.

Since Leo & Jamal completed the Polka Detour, they would be forced to backtrack and complete the Pose Detour before continuing.

Teams must make their way to the Przymorze Wielkie falowiec, where they would find their next clue.

"Who's got a sweet tooth?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must search among 12 provided addresses in the half-mile long, 6,000 person occupancy Przymorze Wielkie falowiec, tasting a traditional Polish pastry known as pączki in each apartment. Once they find the apartment serving rose hip jam-filled pączki, identifiable by its red center, they would receive their next clue. Teams may be penalized if they are found to be rude guests.

Teams must make their way to Sopot Pier to check in. For coming in first, Tim & Marie won a trip for two to Hawaii, provided by Travelocity.
