Upon arrival, teams must make their way to "the church where Pope Francis was baptized", leaving teams to figure out that this referred to the Basílica María Auxiliadora y San Carlos. Teams will receive their next clue the following morning in the order they arrived at the church the previous night.
Choice A: Cartoneros
Teams must make their way to the Palermo neighborhood at the intersection of El Salvador, Fray Justo Santa Maria, and Uriarte streets, where they must pick up a cart, collect cardboard from recyclable bins around the neighborhood, and transport it to a truck to be weighed. Once teams have collected at least 100 kilograms of cardboard, the garbage worker would give them their next clue. Only eight carts are available at a time.
Alex & Adam, Cindy & Rick, Denise & James Earl, Ernest & Jin, Jazmine & Danielle, Justin & Diana, Logan & Chris, Tanner & Josh, and Tiffany & Krista chose this task.
Choice B: Fletero
Teams must make their way to Gabriel del Campo Antiques to pick up a statue, in pieces, and call for a delivery truck. One member must hold the statue pieces in the back, while their partner directs the driver to Plaza Intendente Sebeer. Once at the park, they must bring all of the statue pieces to a marked gazebo and re-assemble it properly to receive their next clue from the park director.
Teams must make their way to Avenida Bartolomé Mitre 4722, where they would find their next clue.
"Who wants to get sideways?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must learn a tango routine, which included being harnessed and finishing the routine on the wall of a stage. Once they have performed the entire routine to the satisfaction of the instructor, they would receive their next clue.
The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must make their way to "The Cathedral of Polo", leaving teams to figure out that this referred to Campo Argentino de Polo, to check in.
