The order of departure from the National Monument are as follows:
"Who digs the seaside?" The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must dig in a marked area of sand around Kuta Beach for a souvenir, a small wooden surfboard, hidden up to 40 centimeters beneath the sand to receive their next clue. The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:
Teams must make their way to Internet Outpost Travellers Lounge and access the MSN Search website and search for the words "Amazing Race Asia" to find their next clue, which they may print out or receive from an attendant.
Choice A: Wet
Teams must go to a nearby tropical rainforest, traverse down 500 steps to the Ayung River, and whitewater raft down a two-mile course to reach their next clue. Andrew & Syeon, Andy & Laura, Jacqueline & Aubrey, and Sahil & Prashant chose this task.
Choice B: Dry
Teams must head to an elephant safari park and ride an elephant down a one-kilometer course to receive their next clue. Howard & Sahran, Joe Jer & Zabrina, Marsio & Mardy, Melody & Sharon, and Sandy & Francesca chose this task.
Teams must make their way to Uluwatu Caves in Badung Regency and follow the steps into the caves to find their next clue.
