Route Markers[]

The order of departure from Vancouver Convention Centre as follows:

  1. Holly & Brett (3:57 am)
  2. Hal & Joanne (4:12 am)
  3. Jody & Cory (4:51 am)
  4. Kristen & Darren (4:58 am)
  5. Vanessa & Celina (5:23 am)
  6. Tim Sr. & Tim Jr. (5:44 am)
  7. Jet & Dave (5:45 am)

Teams must make their way to Nicola Internet Café to book their Air Canada flight to Calgary, Alberta. Upon arrival, teams must have to choose a marked Chevrolet Silverado and drive themselves to the statue of Outlaw (a well-known Calgary Stampede bull) for their next clue.

Teams then must have to drive to Ranchman's Cookhouse to search for their next clue.

"Who wants to Get in Line?"

The assigned team member must have to learn and perform a classic Canadian line dance. Once the dance is performed correctly, the lead dancer would have to receive their next clue.

Teams must have to drive to the Hoodoos in Drumheller to find their next clue.

Choice A: Lump by Lump

Teams must travel to the Atlas Coal Mine in East Coulee and rode a locomotive named Linda to the wash house, where they dressed in coal mining outfits. They then had to shovel coal into a mine cart so that it overflowed and touched all four edges of the cart, and then properly place their numbered tag on the cart to the coal miner, he would receive their next clue.

Hal & Joanne, Jet & Dave, Jody & Cory, Kristen & Darren, Tim Sr. & Tim Jr., and Vanessa & Celina chose this task.

Choice B: Bone by Bone

Teams must travel to the Royal Tyrrell Museum, where they studied a mounted display of a dinosaur skeleton. They then had to enter the specimen preparation laboratory and completely build a model of the same skeleton from memory. Once the bones placed in a right order, the paleontologist would receive their next clue.

Only Holly & Brett chose this task.

Teams must make their way to the Horsethief Canyon Outlook to check in.

For coming in first place, Hal & Joanne won two round trip plane tickets to anywhere in the United States, provided by Air Canada.

For coming in last place, Tim Sr. & Tim Jr. will have to perform a Speed Bump at some point during the next leg of the race.
