Houston, We Have an Elephant is the sixth episode of The Amazing Race 7.
Synopsis[]
The strain of the Race is taking its toll on the teams, especially one Racer who reacts angrily to an unattractive side of her teammate. One team member hastily chooses to do a Roadblock that involves driving a stick shift through the African bush, when he has only driven a stick once before. Teams drive for miles across the African bush where they encounter giraffes, elephants, zebras and hippos roaming freely, causing trepidation, but great excitement over their experience in wild Africa.[2]

The order of departure from the Makgadikgadi Pans are as follows:

- Rob & Amber (5:43 am)

- Meredith & Gretchen (6:12 am)
- Brian & Greg (6:22 am)
Teams must drive themselves along a marked road through the city of Maun to Sankuyo village. Upon arrival, teams must find the Sankuyo Water Tower find for their next clue.
Choice A: Carry It
Teams must transport three items each on their heads (a bucket of water, a basket of corn, and a bundle of wood) to an area 75 yards away, without using their hands. When teams finished, they would receive their next clue.
Only Uchenna & Joyce chose this task.
Choice B: Milk It
Teams must choose a goat from a pen and milk it until they reached a marked line in their cup at 10 ounces. Once teams have filled their cup up to the marked line, they would receive their next clue.
Teams must drive themselves along a marked road to the bank of the Khwai River to find their next clue.
"Who's ready for a real roadblock?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must navigate their vehicle across a crocodile infested crossing of the Khwai River through marked paths. Then, they must remove a marking post from a bush area to claim a lane, then use their vehicle to remove fallen trees that have been knocked down by elephants. At the end of their lane, teams would find their next clue.
