Huger than Huge is the season finale of The Amazing Race 16.

Story

Route Markers

The order of departure from the Riverside Promenade are as follows:

  1. Brent & Caite (2:37 am)
  2. Jet & Cord (3:11 am)
  3. Dan & Jordan (6:00 am)

Teams must fly to San Francisco, California, United States. Upon arrival, teams must make their way to Battery Godfrey at Fort Point, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must solve a riddle that would lead them to Coit Tower, where they would find their next clue.

The team member assigned to this Roadblock must use an ascender to reach the top archways of Coit Tower to get their next clue, before being lowered back to the ground.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Teams must make their way to Letterman Digital Arts Center and search for the Yoda Fountain, where they would find their next clue.

One team member must put on a motion capture suit while their partner directs their avatar through a virtual course. After getting through the two levels of the course, the directing partner will be able to copy down their next clue through figuring out how to read it off the computer screen.

Teams must make their way to the Fairmont Hotel and search for the Tonga Room. Once there, teams must select a trunk and take it to their next destination, which was stickered on the trunk.

Teams must take their trunk and make their way on foot to the Great American Music Hall, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must open their trunk, where they would find psychedelic posters of the eliminated teams. They must then put the posters in the correct order of elimination, with three posters reprenting the Non-Elimination Legs. Once the posters have been placed in the correct order, they would receive their next clue from a roadie. The correct order was:

Leg Pit Stop Team Eliminated
1 Valparaíso Dana & Adrian
2 Puerto Varas Jody & Shannon
3 San Carlos de Bariloche Monique & Shawne
4 Hamburg Non-elimination
5 Wargemoulin-Hurlus Joe & Heidi
6 Épernay Jordan & Jeff
7 Praslin Non-elimination
8 Penang Steve & Allie
9 Singapore Carol & Brandy
10 Shanghai Non-elimination
11 Louie & Michael

Teams must figure out a missing word from the nursery rhyme "Jack Be Nimble", which is the word "candlestick". Teams must then figure out that they must make their way to Candlestick Park to cross the Finish Line.
