I'm Not His Wife, He Doesn't Need to Scream at Me is the second episode of The Amazing Race 6.

Synopsis

Ten teams travel by plane and train to Norway.

The pressure of the race increases, causing a fight over a pair of sunglasses that brings a racer to tears and results in a deep discussion about the couple's relationship. Meanwhile, a detour task proves to be incredibly exhausting and painful as one racer finds it nearly impossible to remain standing; struggles with navigation causes serious infighting and at the pit stop, a team gets an unexpected penalty which may affect their outcome.

Teams must fly to Oslo, Norway. Upon arriving, teams must find the Holmenkollen ski jump to find their next clue.

"Who's ready to perform an Olympian feat?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must climb to the top of the Holmenkollen ski jump, then ride a zipline 1,000 feet (300 m) to the bottom in order to receive their next clue.

Teams must drive themselves to Brandbu and find the Raukr Viking Village. Once there, teams will find their next clue.

In the morning, the ten teams would split into two groups of five teams, and row across a fjord to their next clue. Adam & Rebecca, Hayden & Aaron, Kris & Jon, Lena & Kristy, and Lori & Bolo formed Team 1. Don & Mary Jean, Freddy & Kendra, Gus & Hera, Jonathan & Victoria, and Meredith & Maria formed Team 2.

Teams must take a train from Hønefoss to the town of Voss and drive to a marked bridge to find their next clue.

Choice A: Endurance
Teams must roller ski downhill on a 1.75-mile course to receive their next clue.

Adam & Rebecca, Hayden & Aaron, Lena & Kristy, and Lori & Bolo competed this task.

Choice B: Accuracy
Teams must successfully complete three games traditionally played by the Vikings. First, they had to throw sticks to knock over a circle of eight logs called kubbs before knocking over the king in the center. After knocking over the king, one team member had to throw an axe into a tree trunk target and make it stick. Once the axe stuck, the other team member had to shoot an arrow into a target 30 feet away to get their next clue.

Don & Mary Jean, Freddy & Kendra, Gus & Hera, Jonathan & Victoria, Kris & Jon, and Meredith & Maria competed this task.

Teams must drive themselves to Nesheimstunet Farm to check in. For coming in first, Kris & Jon won a seven-night cruise in Alaska, courtesy of Royal Caribbean International.

• This leg marks the first time that The Amazing Race visits the country of Norway.
• This is the first episode that the team members are limited to no more than six Roadblocks each.
• This episode's Roadblock would return as an unacknowledged Switchback for the Express Pass task in "A Planes, Trains and Automobiles Day" on The Amazing Race 35.
• The episode title is said by Meredith Tufaro while talking about Jonathan Baker yelling at her, like he often does to his wife Victoria Fuller, while they were rowing a boat across a fjord together with other teams.
• With Meredith & Maria's elimination, Lena & Kristy are the last all-female team remaining.
