The order of departure from Kampung Tanjung Aru are as follows:

Teams must fly to Kuala Lumpur. Once there, teams must make their way to Axiata Telecoms Controls Centre, where they must scan a series of images of nine international monitoring stations for one showing a picture of a golden Buddha, then press the name of a telecommunications company (Dialog Telekom) located in the same country as the statue on a touchscreen computer to receive their next clue. Teams who answer incorrectly would incur a two-minute penalty before being allowed to try again.

Teams must fly to Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka. Once there, teams must take a taxi to Gangaramaya Temple and receive a blessing from a Buddhist monk to receive their next clue.

Choice A: Count
Teams must make their way to the fish station in St. John's Fish Market and count the correct number of fish to receive their next clue.

Claire & Michelle, Dimple & Sunaina, Hussein & Natasha, Khairie & Ethan, and Lani & Jess chose this task.

Choice B: Carry
Teams must carry 12 blocks of ice, each weighing roughly 20 kilograms, across the market to a marked stall to receive their next clue.

Alan & Wendy, Hilda & Ivan, Richard & Richard, and Sahil & Manas chose this task.

Teams must make their way to Station Road Nugegoda and each sell 20 bags of peanuts for Rs.15 apiece, then exchange the collected money for their next clue.

After receiving the Roadblock clue, but before performing the Roadblock at Trendy Connections Garment Factory, teams would have the option to Yield another team. Dimple & Sunaina used the Yield on Claire & Michelle.

"Who can reap what they sew?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must use a professional sewing machine at Trendy Connections Garment Factory to properly sew fabric cuttings into a shirt to receive their next clue. The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

For coming in last, Alan & Wendy are "marked for elimination". If they do not arrive first in the next leg, they would be assessed a 30-minute penalty.
