The order of departure from Ramnagar Fort are as follows:

1. Flight Time & Big Easy (2:07 am)
2. Zev & Justin (2:12 am)
3. Kisha & Jen (2:53 am)
4. Gary & Mallory (3:30 am)
5. Jet & Cord (3:35 am)
6. Kent & Vyxsin (3:44 am)

Teams must fly to Vienna, Austria. Upon arrival, teams must choose a marked 2012 Ford Focus in the parking lot of Vienna International Airport on which they would find their next clue.

Teams must play a message from host Phil Keoghan inside the Ford Focus, instructing them to put the car in reverse to activate its MyFord Touch rear view camera system, which they must use to spell out their next destination, Schloss Schallaburg.

Teams would be given a book, on the front page of which would be stamped "Librarian Prunksaal/Österreichische Nationalbibliothek", leaving teams to figure out that the must make their way to the Austrian National Library and find the Prunksaal section's librarian to exchange the book for their next clue.

Choice A: Long Hard Walk
Teams must make their way to the Sigmund Freud Museum to pick up a psychoanalysis couch, similar to the ones Sigmund Freud used in his sessions. Teams must then deliver the couch to the Marietta-Blau-Saal at the University of Vienna approximately 1 mile away to receive their next clue.

All teams chose this task.

Choice B: Quick and Easy Meal
Teams must make their way to the Wiener Riesenrad ferris wheel and pick up two large servings of the varied forms of traditional Viennese cuisine: Wiener schnitzel, Sauerkraut, and Sachertorte. Teams must then board one of the Riesenrad's dining cars where, while a violinist plays some Viennese music, they would have to finish both servings within one 12-minute revolution of the ferris wheel to receive their next clue. If they can not finish both servings in time, they would have to start over.

None of the teams chose this task.

Teams must drive themselves to Salzburg and search for the Sternbräu Restaurant, where they would find their next clue.

"Who's feeling lucky as lucky can be?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must choose a chimney sweep instructor and then put on a traditional chimney sweep uniform. They must go to the roof of the building and use a weight with wire mesh on a rope to clean one of the chimneys three times. Once complete, they must go to the basement and open up one of the chimney cleaning doors to retrieve their next clue.

Teams must drive themselves to Villa Trapp to check in.

For coming in first place, Zev & Justin each won a 2012 Ford Focus.

For coming in last place, Gary & Mallory will have to perform a Speed Bump at some point during the next leg of the race.

• This is the only leg this season to have a non-elimination point and not be a No-Rest Leg until "Krakow, I'm Gonna Get You" in The Amazing Race 27.
• The Detours on this leg were initially named "Father of Psychoanalysis" and Mother of All Meals" before changed to "Long Hard Walk" and "Quick and Easy Meal" to be made final.
