I Love Monkeys! is the fourth episode of The Amazing Race 22.

The order of departure from Terrace Downs are as follows:

Since the previous leg was a No-Rest Leg, teams immediately departed from the Pit Stop to continue racing.

Teams must fly to Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. Upon arrival, which went unaired, teams must make their way to the Kenanga Terracotta Restaurant, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must make their way to the Ubud Monkey Forest. Once there, teams must choose a marked coconut to give to the monkeys in the forest. Once a monkey opens their coconut and reveals a canister inside, a handler would retrieve the canister, which contained their next clue.

Choice A: Sandy Bottom
Teams must collect volcanic sand from the bottom of the Ayung River, then transport it 200 yards uphill into a larger container. Once they have filled their container to a designated line, the brick maker would give them their next clue.

Jessica & John and Mona & Beth chose this task.

Choice B: Fruity Top
Teams must dress in sarongs and prepare a Balinese religious offering known as gebogan from a variety of fruits. Once their gebogan is approved, they must carry it in a procession to the Pura Desa Puseh Temple to be blessed and placed on an altar. Once complete, the local priest would give them their next clue.

Bates & Anthony, Caroline & Jennifer, Chuck & Wynona, Dave & Connor, Joey & Meghan, Max & Katie, and Pam & Winnie chose this task.

Teams must make their way to Uluwatu Surf Beach, where they would find their next clue.

"Who's ready to get totally tubular and be worked in a way-gnarly challenge?"

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must make their way to Ketut's Surf Shop, where they must among search several surfboards for one with an image from a previous leg, which they were left to figure out depicted the Tahitian priest from Bora Bora. After taking a surfboard, they must search for their partner, then make their way on foot to the nearby Pit Stop at Pura Luhur Uluwatu with the correct surfboard to check in. If wrong, they must go back to the shop and search for the correct surfboard.
