I Need Hair to Be Pretty is the penultimate episode of The Amazing Race 20.

The order of departure from Bolgatty Palace are as follows:

Teams must make their way to Daiva Vili Bhagvathi Kshetram in Chandiroor. Once there, teams would receive a blessing from the head priest before receiving their next clue.
At Daiva Vili Bhagvathi Kshetram, Bopper & Mark would receive their clue for their Speed Bump. Bopper & Mark must paint a tiger's face on the belly of a Puli Kali dancer, following the example on another dancer's belly, before they are allowed to continue.
The Fast Forward instructions were given to teams after receiving their clue at Daiva Vili Bhagvathi Kshetram. Teams must participate in a traditional Hindu good luck ritual at Mutharamman Devasthanam Hindu Temple that involves shaving their hair. Once both team members have shaven their heads, they would win the Fast Forward. Bopper & Mark won the Fast Forward.
Teams must make their way to Pattanacaud Coir Mats and Matting, where they would find their next clue.
"Who's at the end of their rope?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must spin 40 feet of rope made from coconut husks, then spool four other rope bundles onto a spindle in order to receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Fort Kochi. Once there, teams must find a barber under an ancient tree, who would give teams their next clue.
Choice A: Pachyderm
Teams must properly decorate an Asian elephant with a headdress and golden ornaments, then transport 15 wheelbarrow loads of elephant manure to a nearby truck. Once completed, they would receive their next clue.
Brendon & Rachel, Rachel & Dave, and Vanessa & Ralph chose this task.
Choice B: Pack a Box
Teams must head to a ginger processing center, collect 10 empty boxes, fill them with ginger that they sifted in order to measure it the right weight, then stencil a label on each box, before delivering the boxes to a shipping depot. Once the boxes have been delivered, the manager would give teams their next clue.
Teams must take a ferry to the Cheena vala Fishing Nets in Vypin to check in.
For coming in first place, Rachel & Dave each won $10,000.

- This is the first time since You Always Just Forget About Me! that a team won the Fast Forward but still placed last.
- First time since season 4 that there were more than two Fast Forwards available on the Race.
