Teams must make their way to SnowTown Saigon, where they must grab a sled and ride it down an indoor slope to a person dressed as a polar bear, who will give them their next clue.

At SnowTown Saigon, Chris & Bret would receive their clue for their Speed Bump.

Chris & Bret must fill a cooler with snowballs in simulated snowstorm conditions and deliver the cooler to College Transportation Central in order to continue racing.

Teams must make their way to College Transportation Central to find their next clue.

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to pass a Vietnamese scooter driving test. They had to drive a scooter through a figure-eight and over a series of bumps without touching the ground or driving outside the yellow lines to receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Bình Quới Village to find their next clue.

Choice A: Irritation
Teams must paddle a basket boat 200 yards while avoiding people on boats and pick up a basket of fish. They must then paddle back to the start and exchange the fish and the basket for their next clue.

Becca & Floyd, Chris & Bret, Colin & Christie, Corinne & Eliza, Janelle & Britney, Nicole & Victor, and Tyler & Korey chose this task.

Choice B: Irrigation
Teams must assemble a bamboo water wheel to the satisfaction of a farmer and then use the water wheel to fill a pot with water to receive their next clue.

Leo & Jamal and Rachel & Elissa chose this task.

Teams must make their way to Tầm Vu Park on foot to find their next clue.

There was a Head-to-Head that went unaired. Teams would have to play a game of badminton against one another. The team that wins the challenge heads to the nearby Pit Stop. The team that loses must then wait for another team to compete against. The final losing team will be eliminated.[2]

  • This episode marks the first time that a Head-to-Head was unaired.[3] Due to it being unaired it change the positions of the teams when they arrived at the Head-to-Head.
