Teams must make their way to the Akotoku Boxing Academy in the Jamestown district of Accra, where they would find their next clue.

"You've got a Rocky road ahead."

The team member assigned to this Roadblock must perform a boxing workout. After first wrapping their hands properly, they must then punch a punching bag, then jump rope for 60 seconds each without stopping. Upon completion of the workout, their boxing trainer would give them their next clue.

Teams must take a taxi to Dodowa and search for a marked supply depot, where they would find their next clue.

Teams must load up two wheelbarrows with building supplies and deliver them to the foreman at the Asebi D/A Primary School to receive their next clue.

Teams must join a geography class studying a map of Africa. While the children locate the other nations in Africa, the teams must correctly locate Ghana on the map in order to receive their next clue.

Choice A: Bicycle Parts
Teams must use a stick to roll the rim of a bicycle wheel down the length of a soccer field and back, without touching it with their hands or letting it fall over. Once both team members have completed their two passes, one of the school children would give them their next clue.

Brook & Claire, Chad & Stephanie, Gary & Mallory, Jill & Thomas, Katie & Rachel, Michael & Kevin, Nat & Kat, and Nick & Vicki chose this task.

Choice B: Language Arts
Teams must chose a proverb with eight phrases highlighted that correspond to a series of eight Adinkra symbols. Using a nearby decoder key, teams must locate the eight symbols in a massive word search-like puzzle. Once they have encircled the correct set of Adinkra symbols, one of the school children would give them their next clue.

Only Connor & Jonathan chose this task.

Teams must follow a marked path on foot to the home of Awusa Ntso in Doryumu to check in.

For coming in first place, Connor & Jonathan each won $5,000.

For coming in last place, Michael & Kevin will have to perform a Speed Bump at some point during the next leg of the race.
