The order of departure from Mỹ Tho Boat Pier in Mỹ Tho are as follows:

Teams must take a taxi to the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City. Once there, teams must grab a Race-colored ribbon from the mouth of a water dragon puppet, inside which they would find their next clue.
Teams must make their way to the location depicted on a provided postage stamp, which they must figure out was the Saigon Central Post Office, where they would find their next clue.
Choice A: Child's Play
Teams must find Nhiep Anh Công viên Tao Đàn Kiosque Giao Anh in Tao Đàn Park and choose a concrete animal statue. They must transport the animal statue to a children's playground, while collecting five different colored balloons along the way, in order to receive their next clue. If any part of the animal statue broke off, teams must collect the pieces and bring them along with the statue to the children's playground.
Brian & Ericka, Flight Time & Big Easy, Gary & Matt, Lance & Keri, Maria & Tiffany, Meghan & Cheyne, Mika & Canaan, Sam & Dan, and Zev & Justin chose this task.
Choice B: Word Play
Teams must make their way to Hotel A Dong's observation deck and search the traffic circle of Ngã sáu Cộng Hoà in front of the hotel for six Vietnamese letters written atop vehicles passing through the circle. Once they found all six letters, teams must get assistance from the locals to unscramble the letters to spell the Vietnamese word Độc Lập, which means "independence", to receive their next clue.
After the Detour, teams would have the option to U-Turn a team, without revealing their identity. Lance & Keri attempted to use the U-Turn on Sam & Dan, however Sam & Dan already passed the U-Turn before Lance & Keri, having no effect on them.[2]
Teams must make their way to Điện Cơ 008, where they would find their next clue.
"Who's ready for a complete breakdown?"
The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock must disassemble two VCRs and organize the parts into two separate piles in order to receive their next clue.

Teams must make their way to Reunification Palace to check in.
For coming in first place, Flight Time & Big Easy won a trip for two to Aruba, provided by Travelocity.
