Story[]

Route Markers[]

The order of departure from Hotel Nacional are as follows:

  1. Paul & Steve
  2. Michelle & Jo
  3. Shane & Andrew
  4. James & Sarah
  5. Lucy & Emilia
  6. Sticky & Sam
  7. Joseph & Grace
Since the previous leg was a No-Rest Leg, teams immediately departed from the Pit Stop to continue racing.

Teams had to vote for the team that they wanted to be U-Turned on this leg in a secret ballot. The team's votes, as well as the voting order, so this was left unaired.[1]

The teams voted as follows:

Teams must drive themselves to Marina Hemingway, teams had to sign up for one of four charter boats the next morning departing 30 minutes apart. They received their next clue after boarding the boat.

"Who's feeling a little nautical?"

The assigned team member had to either use a compass and a nautical chart with two coordinates to locate a fishing boat with "the old fisherman of the sea" on board, who had their next clue, or catch a fish if they couldn't find the fisherman.

The Roadblock performers per team are underlined:

Choice A: Che Puzzle
Teams must make their way to Plaza de la Catedral at Old Havana and complete a 90-piece jigsaw puzzle of Che Guevara before receiving their next clue.

James & Sarah, Joseph & Grace, Lucy & Emilia, Michelle & Jo, and Shane & Andrew chose this task.

Choice B: Daiquiri Guzzle
Teams must have had to make six daiquiris at El Floridita Bar and then carry them on a tray with one hand to Ernest Hemingway's old room at the Hotel Ambos Mundos. If none of the daiquiris spilled or were dropped along the way, teams received their next clue; otherwise, they had to go back to the bar and make the daiquiris again.

Paul & Steve and Sticky & Sam chose this task.

By a vote of 4-2-1, Sticky & Sam were U-Turned, so this was left unaired. Since Sticky & Sam completed the Daiquiri Guzzle Detour, they would be forced to backtrack and complete the Che Puzzle Detour before continuing.[2]

Teams must drive to the village of Australia at Ciénaga de Zapata for a crocodile farm, where they had to feed a Cuban crocodile and then catch a crocodile before receiving their next clue.

Teams must travel by foot to the pier and a boat across the Laguna del Tesoro at the Hotel Villa Guamá to check in.
For coming in first place, Paul & Steve won a trip for two to Queenstown, New Zealand.
