Janne Lehtonen and Robin Hendry are not only friends but also former professional soldiers from the Special Forces. Today, Janne and Robin work as firefighters and run a crossfit gym together. Janne and Robin trust each other like a stone. The men say that during their time as a professional soldier, they have been in situations where their own lives have had to be entrusted to others.

The general public knows the duo as tough and hard-hitting Special Forces instructors. In the Amazing Race Suomi adventure, Janne and Robin may see a completely new side. Both men intend to set out as themselves – they do not communicate with military harshness in a civilian, for example.

Fun fact: Robin says he's so competitive that it's even become a joke among friends.^[1]
