Juan & Shane

Juan Jose Villa Naranjo^[1] and Shane Bilek are a team of Military Pilots on The Amazing Race 36.

The Air Force Pilots were efficient in tasks and worked well together, allowing them to move up placements quickly if they found themselves behind. Although, they often ended up playing second fiddle to Ricky & Cesar. The Race also began to wear on Shane after developing food poisoning, though they were able to survive and remain in contention afterwards. In the final leg, they made a crucial mistake at the second route marker when they accidentally drove to New Jersey, dropping them to last, but they were to pass Rod & Leticia at the second Roadblock to claim a 2nd place finish.
