If Amazing Race Finland is an adventure in snowy conditions, Kaisa Mäkäräinen and Mari Eder are going strong. In her biathlon career, Kaisa won no less than six World Championship medals and the overall World Cup competition three times. Mari, on the other hand, achieved international success in both cross-country skiing and biathlon.

Now retired, Kaisa and Mari are used to solving problems on the road. When they started their international competitive careers, biathlon was such a small sport that the athletes had to figure out the practical arrangements themselves.

Fun fact: Kaisa and Mari already find traffic in Helsinki so challenging that they are happy if they manage in the Finnish capital.
