− | LaKisha "Kisha" Hoffman and Jennifer "Jen" Hoffman are a team of Sisters on the 14th season of The Amazing Race and the Unfinished Business season of The Amazing Race. |
||
+ | LaKisha "Kisha" Hoffman and Jennifer "Jen" Hoffman are a team of Sisters on 14 and the Official Winners of 18. |
||
+ | |||
+ | In Season 14, they had communication issues that hindered their ability to work as a team, mainly that Jen felt Kisha was overbearing as a big sister, but unlike Tammy & Victor, they never found a way to overcome it. After an unremarkable first 8 legs, Jen rattled off a trio of embarrassing moments in China, putting them directly in the spotlight. Ultimately, though it looked like they had a spot in the Final 3 sewn up, Jen struggled with the Foreign Queasine Roadblock, then suffered from a toilet emergency once they were almost at the Pit Stop, allowing Jaime & Cara to slip by them, and getting them eliminated in 4th. |
||
+ | |||
+ | They were given the chance to erase that humiliation in Unfinished Business. They returned as a more efficient and prepared team, having worked out their sibling rivalry and Jen's fear of water, the problems that held them back previously. They stayed under the radar for most of the season, always running near the top but never winning a leg until they rushed to claim the big prize in the final leg. Fittingly, as the finale aired on Mother's Day, they planned to use the money to help their single mother start a business. |

− | LaKisha works as a youth program coordinator and basketball coach. She hopes the same strengths that make her a good coach – patience and a strong competitive nature - will ultimately make her the best Racer the game has seen. Meanwhile, she claims her sister is very impatient and blunt when it comes to dealing with others or speaking her mind. |

− | Jennifer works as a marketing assistant and newsletter coordinator for an assisted living company. She claims that she is the creative one while LaKisha is the analytical one…two traits that will undoubtedly be tested on the Race. Jennifer is infectiously energetic and confident, played college volleyball at the University of Louisville. LaKisha played basketball for the same school. Both have a competitive drive and are eager to put it to the test against this season’s crop of Racers. |

LaKisha "Kisha" Hoffman and Jennifer "Jen" Hoffman are a team of Sisters on The Amazing Race 14 and the Official Winners of The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business.
In Season 14, they had communication issues that hindered their ability to work as a team, mainly that Jen felt Kisha was overbearing as a big sister, but unlike Tammy & Victor, they never found a way to overcome it.
They were given the chance to erase that humiliation in Unfinished Business.

LaKisha Hoffman (28); Jennifer Hoffman (24) These two former Division 1 College athletes look forward to becoming the first ever all female Team to win the Race. Besides athleticism, these sisters have little in common. LaKisha works as a youth program coordinator and basketball coach. She hopes the same strengths that make her a good coach – patience and a strong competitive nature - will ultimately make her the best Racer the game has seen. Meanwhile, she claims her sister is very impatient and blunt when it comes to dealing with others or speaking her mind. Jennifer works as a marketing assistant and newsletter coordinator for an assisted living company. She claims that she is the creative one while LaKisha is the analytical one…two traits that will undoubtedly be tested on the Race. Jennifer is infectiously energetic and confident, played college volleyball at the University of Louisville. LaKisha played basketball for the same school. Both have a competitive drive and are eager to put it to the test against this season's crop of Racers. Neither sister has traveled extensively outside of the states, but they are looking forward to embarking on this journey of a lifetime together in order to change that. They will run the Race with unstoppable speed and numerous arguments along the way.[1]
