- Along with Bergen & Kurt, Hayley & Blair, Jeff & Jackie, and Jelani & Jenny, Laura & Tyler are the second team to race without a pre-existing relationship (after Mark & Mallory of All-Stars (2014))
- To date, every Tyler on the US version of the Amazing Race has won, with the others being from BJ & Tyler and Tyler & James. Coincidentally, the only Tyler on the Australian version of the Amazing Race, from Tyler & Nathan, also won.
- Laura celebrated her 30th birthday during the filming of the tenth leg in the Netherlands and Peru. [1]
