Lauren Lavoie and Joanne Lavoie are a team of Sisters on The Amazing Race Canada 7.
As the first team ever from Saskatchewan, the sisters were thrilled to represent their province, especially when they got to the sixth leg. During the race, they were usually at the back of the pack and often narrowly avoided elimination due to other teams making more critical mistakes than they did. While they were never a dominant team, they were persevering and never quit, and Joanne kept them both up with her constantly positive outlook and extremely enthusiastic attitude towards everything they encountered. They were able to become underdogs and make their way into the final three, beating out several seemingly stronger teams in the process. In the final leg, they were set back by Lauren losing the clue paper with the location of the sign-up board for the float-plane to Muskoka, with the time spent trying to remember their location leaving them in a distant third place early on. Though they managed to catch up to the other teams throughout the final leg, they weren't able to get ahead and ultimately finished in 3rd place.

The Lavoie sisters have a bond that is infectious – there is never a dull moment when they're around! They know everything about each other and truly bring out the best in one another. In 2015, a video of a prank that Lauren played on Joanne went viral and received millions of views on Vine. They began making daily content on the platform and became "Vine famous." Joanne is spunky and willing do things that most people would never want to do, while Lauren is more logical and cunning. They acknowledge the Race is going to be difficult and they will need each other for support. Helping their father deal with a chronic illness has given these sisters a positive outlook at life. They appreciate every day that is given to them and live life to the fullest. Lauren and Joanne are the first team from Saskatchewan to ever compete on THE AMAZING RACE CANADA! Both are full of "Prairie Pride" and want to show Canada why Saskatchewan is truly amazing.
