Let's Split! is the ninth episode of The Amazing Race 31.

Story

Route Markers

The order of departure from Grand Hotel Giessbach are as follows:

Teams must fly to Split, Croatia. Once there, teams will need to make their way to Kašjuni Beach, to find their next clue.

Teams must serve six drinks to beach-goers to get their next clue and the Travelocity roaming gnome.

Teams must make their way to the Marjan Cave Church, where they will need to use a pulley to hoist their gnome and a loaf of bread to a monk to get their next clue.

Choice A: Poetry in Motion
Teams would ride a large flying tube, towed by a boat, while attempting to memorize a poem. Once they are back on the shore, they will need to properly recite the poem to the poetry master to get their next clue. If they fail to properly to recite the poem, they must ride the tube again.

All teams chose this task.

Choice B: Washed in from the Ocean
Teams must snorkel in the Adriatic Sea and would use a metal detector to find a goblet and five coins to get their next clue.

None of the teams chose this task.

Teams must travel by taxi to Diocletian's Palace, and go to the entrance of the catacombs to find their next clue.

The team member assigned to this Roadblock must change into a red robe, then enter the senator's room. They must keep track of five Roman soldiers with red ribbons on their helmet out of a formation of 18. After the soldiers march in formation and put their shields up, they must correctly guess where they are in the formation. Once they have guessed correctly, the senator will hand them their next clue.

Teams must row a dinghy to Matejuška Pier to check in. For coming in first place, Tyler & Korey won a trip for two to Mexico, provided by Travelocity.
