45 year old Canadian-born Karen has 2 children who she looks after full-time in Shanghai. She met her teammate four years ago in their backyards while their children were playing together. Previously working in real estate and as a voiceover, she now designs clothes for a children's clothes shop in Shanghai.
Even with their busy schedules between work, soccer games and school events, these "fiercely competitive" moms still find time to shop, run and dance together. They both have a passion for travelling, experiencing new cultures and stepping outside their comfort zones. They plan on utilizing Lisa's books smarts and Karen's street smarts to keep themselves ahead of the competition.
