Introduced in The Amazing Race Vietnam 2012, a team was Marked for Surrender Money if they were the last to arrive at the Pit Stop during a Non-Elimination Leg. If they did not arrive at the pit stop first during the following leg, they would have to relinquish all of their money in their possession and would receive no money on the following leg. They were also not allowed to build funds until that leg started for them. This is similar to being Marked for Elimination and Surrender Money.
