Martina Seo and Phil Seo[1] are a team of Siblings & Volunteers on The Amazing Race Canada: Heroes Edition.

While not a physical threat during the race, the siblings maintained consistently positive, enthusiastic (especially Martina), and supportive attitudes throughout the race, even when faced with difficult challenges or unexpected setbacks, making them one of the most likeable teams in the season. Their likability was especially increased when they decided to abandon Martina's bag, combining some of the contents of her bag into Phil's bag and giving the leftover contents to a homeless man they encountered during a Pit Stop. Though they were usually at the back of the pack in the early legs, they managed to place third and then second place twice in the later legs of the race, eventually making it to the final four. While they got an early lead in the penultimate leg, they were set back by their inability to land a helicopter in a military simulator and losing the wheelchair basketball Face Off during sudden death overtime against Courtney & Adam, leaving them with too little time to catch up at the last Roadblock of the leg. This led to their eventual elimination in 4th place, but despite being eliminated, they expressed how surprised they were with how far they managed to get and how much they genuinely enjoyed almost every experience they had.

Both Martina and Phil share a love for helping children and they have volunteered more than 10,000 hours of their time with kids in Canada, USA, Kenya, South Africa, Korea, and Fiji. Their Korean immigrant parents taught them from a young age the value of volunteerism. For them, giving back to those in need is what brings them the most happiness. Martina and Phil have a love-hate sibling relationship full of extremes. Martina is loud and posts everything on social media. Phil likes to talk, but at a more digestible volume. Now, the two are closer than ever. A few years ago, Phil and his wife suffered through two miscarriages, which left them heartbroken. Phil learned through this experience to find strength in vulnerability and the importance of talking about hard times. Once he opened up to people about this (including Martina and they had a good cry), good things started to happen. Phil and his wife welcomed a baby girl over a year ago! Martina became an educator because the only real connection she had during elementary school was with her teachers. She considers them her heroes and they helped her get through the bullying she experienced during that time. She's now turned her pain into a life's purpose and children from around the world are benefiting from it.
