Hi there! I noticed that this wiki does not have a mobile main page set up. Considering 65% of your viewers are on mobile, I believe it would be beneficial to create one. I can help with this if you'd like, just let me know what you're thinking!
Hey 1LOSTFan! I am Lostris, and I will be taking over as your Wiki Manager from Mandy, since she has since then been hired to become a full-time staff member.
As I noted in my blogpost, this changes nothing to the support your wiki receives, the change just affects your point of contact. I will also reach out to your fellow administrators to alert them of this change. So if I can ever be of assistance, just let me know and I'll do my best to help or find someone who can if I am unable to assist you myself.
I would also like to take advantage of this opportunity to highlight two blog posts regarding the "Unified Community Platform" (UCP for short).
Considering the impact this will have on the outlook of wikis and especially the working of the message wall, I recommend to give these posts a read if you haven't done so already. One of the biggest changes, the one to the wiki editor, will be announced shortly as well, so that's definitely something to look out for!
I'm looking forward to be working with you and your fellow administrators!
Anytime. I'll likely check in regularly, especially when updates have been released, but as mentioned before, if you have a question or there is anything you could use some help with or perhaps even just a soundboard to bounce an idea of, don't hesitate to reach out.
Hello! Just in case you haven't heard, Fandom has launched a new Editor Rewards Program to thank hard-working users for their contributions to the platform. You can check out all of the information in this blog post. Feel free to comment on the blog if you have any feedback, questions, or concerns, and the Editor Experience Team will be happy to answer!
Hey! Just in case you don't know, I'm excited to inform you that Fandom now has an official Discord server for Fandom and Gamepedia editors! If you're interested in joining, you can learn more about it in this blog post. Ultimately, the server allows for better communication with staff and fellow editors, and I will be easily accessible there if you ever need any help. Let me know if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!
Hey there! My name is Mandy, and I’m the Fandom Wiki Manager assigned to the Amazing Race Wiki. No worries, I am not here to take over. My job is to help the community and serve as a liaison between contributors and full-time Fandom staff. I will be your primary point of contact should any assistance be needed, so if you ever have a question or issue relating to the wiki, editing, etc., don't hesitate to leave a message on my wall and I will do my best to help. If I am unable to solve your issue, I will be able to get in contact with a staff member that can. I will also be getting in contact with the rest of the active admins in this community to introduce myself and inform them of my position. In the meantime, please let me know if there's anything I can do for you or if you have any further questions regarding my role, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Looking forward to working with you in the future!
Hello there! I am Lady Aleena, admin of the Tommy Westphall Universe wiki. I saw you made one edit there on The X-Files article. I was wondering if you had an interest in the TWU in general, or were you just interested in The X-Files article? In either case, would you be willing to come back? I've done my best to organize and add to it. With the TWU nearing 500 television series, it is getting harder to keep going all alone. We also have an article on Lost.
Please leave me a message on my talk page there if you are interested in returning or not. Thank you! Lady Aleena (talk) 11:17, November 2, 2017 (UTC)
All connections on the wiki come from the off-wiki Tommy Westphall Universe. The TWU recognizes some generic fictional brands as legitimate crossovers, even if they do not make much sense. They are noted separately, but like it or not, they are there.
I hope to see you sometime, stop by my talk page there if you don't know where to start. Lady Aleena (talk) 05:36, November 24, 2017 (UTC)
So for a while, I've been thinking of changing the format on the episode tables on season pages to look a little cleaner. Essentially, Episode # and Title would be combined to one field named Episode, and with the Leg # being moved to after the Air Date column. I've mad some sample tables (in comparison to the current tables) on the page, User:Sinjoh/New Table, if you want to see what they'll look like. I wanted to run this by you and BlueBarracudas555 to get any feedback on potentially doing this.
Yes, looking at the code for it, it does seem simple to add a News and Social Media sections (I'll put up the US and Canada for the social media sections). I'm a little hesitant with adding a featured article section as quite of the few pages lack content, however, all these are great and can be done quickly.
I'll have to message Ian (the head of Survivor Wiki) on that on Facebook. I assume that it's something Wikia staff may have to add. I also assume you want to find previews for some of this seasons to display on the top of the page.
Could you change this for The Amazing Race 29 wiki page:
Initially the season was to start airing on April 21, 2017 with a planned two-hour season premiere, but was bumped up to March 30, 2017 due to low ratings for Training Day. Filming began on June 10, 2016 and ended July 2, 2016.
