The friends started off pretty strong, but as the race got more serious, they began to fold under the pressure and whined more and more. This caused their performance to falter and they were scraping by. On leg 7, struggles on the Detour and getting lost caused them to fall so far behind that even Andrea & Luciana getting a 30-minute penalty after being Marked for Elimination wasn't enough to save them.
