The order of departure from Kumbali Village are as follows:

Teams must travel by bus to Salima, Malawi. Once they've arrived at the Salima bus terminal, teams will receive their next clue.

At the Salima bus terminal, Amani & Marcus would receive their clue for their Speed Bump. Amani & Marcus have to solve a slide puzzle forming the flag of Malawi, before they are allowed to continue.

The team member assigned to perform the Roadblock would have to ride a kabaza, a local bicycle taxi, to take a customer carrying fish to one of three different destinations written on a board tied to the fish. After they drop off their customer to their required address, they'll head back to the bus station to trade in their earnings of MK100 to the kabaza dispatcher to receive their next clue.

Choice A: Dugout
Teams would have to travel to Lake Malawi. Teams must participate in the annual Dugout Canoe Race, and have to use canoes to paddle out to drummers out on the lake and then paddle back to shore to receive their clue from a local fisherman.

Andy & Tommy, Bill & Cathi, Ernie & Cindy, Jeremy & Sandy, Justin & Jennifer, and Laurence & Zac chose this task.

Choice B: Lugout
Teams would have to travel to Lake Malawi. Teams must to wade to a ferryboat on the lake and unload passengers and cargo from the ferry by carrying it to shore. They have to unload two boxes of cabbage, two bundles of sugar cane, two bundles of brooms, one chair, one fan, and eight passengers to the shore in order to receive their next clue.

Only Amani & Marcus chose this task.

Ernie & Cindy used their Express Pass to bypass the Dugout Detour.

Teams must travel on foot to Jamaica Shop to find their next clue.

At Jamaica Shop, teams would have the option to U-Turn a team, with two slots available. Laurence & Zac attempted to use the first slot of the U-Turn on Amani & Marcus, however Amani & Marcus already passed the U-Turn before Laurence & Zac, having no effect on them. The second slot went unused.

Teams must travel on foot to Sunbird Livingstonia Beach to check in. For coming in first place, Andy & Tommy won a $15,000 Discover card.
