Nick & Mike

Nicholas "Nick" Fiorito and Michael "Mike" Fiorito are a team of Brothers on The Amazing Race 37.

Longtime fans of the show who applied multiple times, the brothers frequently struggled with detail oriented tasks and narrowly avoided elimination more than once. In the seventh leg, their luck ran out as they were U-Turned by Melinda & Erika and forced to find a small yarn bracelet in haystacks. Despite U-Turning Han & Holden and being hours ahead of the lost Carson & Jack, the exhausted brothers spent six hours searching through the haystacks to no avail, making them the eighth team eliminated from the race in 7th place.

Notes: 1: Leg 1 featured a Fork in the Road instead of a Detour. Nick & Mike checked-in 6th overall. 2: Nick & Mike failed to complete the second Detour task (Haystack) that they had to do as a result of being U-Turned. After all of the other teams had already checked in at the Pit Stop, host Phil Keoghan came out to their location and eliminated them.

Post-Race[]

After filming the season (before the season aired), Mike got married to his wife.^[2]
Nick and his wife Amanda announced they were expecting their first child together, due in November 2025.^[3]

Trivia[]

Nick & Mike applied for The Amazing Race for seven consecutive years before being cast on The Amazing Race 37.^[4]
- Coincidentally, they would place seventh for the last three legs they competed in before placing in seventh overall on the seventh leg of the season.
Nick & Mike are the first team to be eliminated in Bulgaria.
Nick & Mike's elimination was heavily reminiscent of Lena & Kristy's in "Counting Bears Is Not Rocket Science" in The Amazing Race 6, as both teams fell behind in a haystack related challenge, spent hours out in the field looking for their respective objects, and were eliminated by Phil on the spot.
It was revealed from Leg 4 until after Leg 6, Nick had a rice stuck in his eye. After Leg 6, he went to the doctor and had it removed.^[5]
