Oh, Wow! It’s Like One of Those Things You See on TV! is the third episode of The Amazing Race 10.

Story

Route Markers

The order of departure from Ulaanbaatar are as follows:

Peter & Sarah (6:54 am)
Tyler & James (7:07 am)
Duke & Lauren (7:45 am)
Tom & Terry (7:52 am)
Dustin & Kandice (8:11 am)
Rob & Kimberly (8:13 am)
David & Mary (8:16 am)
Erwin & Godwin (8:18 am)
Lyn & Karlyn (9:02 am)

Teams must find the Chinggis Khan Hotel to purchase tickets to Hanoi, Vietnam. Once in Vietnam, they must find the infamous Hỏa Lò Prison to find their next clue.

Upon entering the prison, teams must find the flight suit belonging to John McCain, displayed somewhere within the prison walls, to find their next clue.

Teams must now find a marked flower shop in Old Quarter, one and a half miles away from the prison, to find their next clue.

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would have to sell enough flowers to earn a total of 80,000 Vietnamese dong, equivalent to about 5 USD.

After completing the Roadblock, teams must find a bus station, where they will board a bus to the village of Vác. There, they will have to find a Buddhist temple, where they will find their next clue among performers.

Choice A: Fuel
Teams have to travel on foot to the home of Nguyễn Văn Thuý. Then, using traditional methods, they must make 30 coal bricks. Once the 30 bricks have been checked and approved by a judge, they will receive their next clue.

All teams except for Duke & Lauren chose this task.

Choice B: Fowl
Teams have to travel on foot to Nhà Thơ. Then, using traditional materials, they must make 1 birdcage.

Only Duke & Lauren chose this task.

Teams must make their way on foot to Canh Dong Dia, which is a short distance from the detour, to check in. For coming in first, Erwin & Godwin won a home entertainment system.
